The Saints are Second Lining Down to Miami!

Well folks, here we are:  pigs have flown and hell is frozen, which can only mean one thing – the Saints are in the Superbowl.  After 43 years, the Who Dat Nation finally has reason to party harder than Mardi Gras.

So, being prepared for your Black and Gold party (or Blue and White, if you’re so inclined) is essential.  You can bet the farm that we’ll be ready at Briarwood Wine & Spirits.  Not only will we have our shelves stocked with everything you’ll need to laissez les bon temps rouler, but in this edition of the Briarwood Decanter we’re featuring classic New Orleans cocktails and Cajun eats to add a little NOLA Mojo to your soiree.

Our good friend and web designer, Chris Crothers, has offered up some Crothers Brothers New Orleans cocktail recipes, including the devastating Hurricane punch (which the Saints will deliver to the Colts), the refreshing Pimm’s Cup, and the ever-so-classy Sazerac.  We’ve also got Lesley’s mom’s famous jambalaya recipe to add some Westbank flair to your giddy-up.  You now have the tools to represent “504 style” and root the Saints to a historic win and end to a monumental season that the Crescent City deserves more than any other.

So from all of us at Briarwood Wine & Spirits, get stocked up, get ready to march and…WHO DAT??!!

Hope to see you soon!
